BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 24. The balance of bank loans in Iran increased by 44.6 percent in the first nine months of the last Iranian year (from March 21 through November 21, 2021), compared to the same period preceding Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the report, the balance of bank loans amounted to 37.2 quadrillion rials (about $885 billion) in 9 months.
The balance of deposits also increased by 43.6 percent within the first 9 months of the last Iranian year, compared to the same period preceding Iranian year. So, the balance of bank deposits in Iran amounted to 50.5 quadrillion rials (about $1.2 trillion) over the reporting period.
