BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. The total assets of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan OJSC increased by 26.07 percent in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports referring to the bank's balance sheet.
According to the sheet report, the bank's total assets made up 440.849 million manat ($259.7 million), up by 91.161 million manat ($53.7 million) year-on-year. Out of gross assets, 65.53 percent fell on the loan portfolio, growing by 66.94 percent year-on-year and reaching 288.924 million manat ($170.2 million).
Targeted reserve deductions to ensure possible losses amounted to 222,400 manat ($131,018).
Following the results of the second quarter of 2022, investments in securities (30.7 million manat, or $18.08 million) accounted for nearly seven percent of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan's total assets.
Meanwhile, 1.66 percent of the bank's assets fell on cash and cash equivalents, totaling 7.332 million manat ($4.3 million).
Other assets of the bank amounted to 6.239 million manat ($3.67 million) in the reporting period.
