BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. The loan portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan increased by 23.3 percent in June 2022 compared to the same period last year - up to 18.3 billion manat ($10.7 billion), Trend reports with reference to Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
CBA said that the loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 14.8 billion manat ($8.7 billion) in June 2021.
The share of business loans in the structure of loan portfolio of banks amounted to 57.2 percent (10.4 billion manat or $6.1 billion) in June 2022, consumer loans - 28.3 percent (5.2 billion manat or $16.6 billion), mortgage loans - 14.4 percent (2.6 billion manat or $8.4 billion).
