BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. The total payments of ten leading Azerbaijani insurance companies amounted to 164.4 million manat ($96.7 million), from January through June 2022, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to CBA, the share of the companies in the overall insurance payments in the reporting period was 94.01 percent.

PASHA Life topped the ranking in terms of insurance payments with 40.83 percent. The company’s payments for the first six months of this year totaled 71.4 million manat ($42 million).

PASHA Insurance with a total amount of payments in the amount of 36 million manat, or $21.18 million (20.58 percent of all payments) ranked second, while Xalq Insurance with 12.17 million manat, or $7.16 million (6.96 percent) took third place.

The total payments of all Azerbaijani insurance companies from January through June 2022 reached 174.9 million manat ($102.8 million).
