BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The loan portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan increased by 23.54 percent in July 2022 compared to the same period last year - up to 18.4 billion manat ($10.8 billion), Trend reports via Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
CBA said that the loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 14.9 billion manat ($8.7 billion) in July 2021.
The share of business loans in the structure of loan portfolio of banks amounted to 56.78 percent (10.4 billion manat or $6.1 billion) in June 2022, consumer loans - 28.75 percent (5.3 billion manat or $3.1 billion), mortgage loans - 14.47 percent (2.6 billion manat or $8.4 billion).
