BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. Total assets of Azerbaijan’s Xalq Bank increased in the third quarter of 2022, Trend reports on October 24 citing the bank's balance report.
According to the report, this figure amounted to 2.59 billion manat ($1.52 billion), up by 377.9 million manat ($222.3 million manat), or 17.01 percent on annual basis.
The largest share (60.48 percent) in the structure of assets was the loan portfolio, which grew by 11.19 percent over the year to 1.57 billion manat ($920 million).
From July through September 2022, about 6.06 percent of Xalq Bank's assets were investments in securities – 157.4 million manat ($92.6 million).
Another nearly 2.2 percent of the bank’s total assets were cash and cash equivalents, which equaled 56.67 million manat ($33.34 million).
Other assets of the bank amounted to 39.1 million manat ($23 million).
