BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. Total assets of VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) increased by 2.65 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022 against the same period of 2021, Trend reports referring to the bank's balance sheet.
According to the sheet report, the bank's total assets made up 238.49 million manat ($140.09 million), up by 6.166 million manat ($3.6 million) year over year. Out of gross assets, 66.99 percent fell on the loan portfolio, reducing by 3.22 percent and reaching 159.77 million manat ($93.8 million).
Following the results of the 2022 fourth quarter, investments in securities (24.475 million manat, or $14.37 million) accounted for 10.26 percent of VTB Bank's total assets.
Meanwhile, 16.5 percent of the bank's assets fell on cash and cash equivalents, totaling 39.2 million manat ($23.02 million).
Other assets of the bank amounted to 3.9 million manat ($2.29 million) in the reporting period.
VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) ended the fourth quarter of 2022 with a net profit of 11.9 million manat ($6.99 million), while this figure in the same period of 2021 was 4.2 million manat ($2.46 million). Thus, the VTB Bank's profit increased by 2.82 times year over year.
