BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 29. Azerbaijani Yelo Bank's total liabilities increased by 60.29 percent as of December 31, 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports, citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the report, the bank's total liabilities increased by 280.3 million manat ($164.8 million) over the year to 745.2 million manat ($438.3 million).

A significant share (76.79 percent) in the structure of liabilities fell on deposits, which increased by 62.29 percent over the year to 572.3 million manat ($336.6 million). At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the structure of the bank's deposits amounted to 23.84 percent, increasing 2.79 times over the year and totaling 136.4 million manat ($80.2 million).

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of deposits of Yelo Bank amounted to 76.16 percent. Deposits of individuals increased by 43.42 percent over the year to 435.8 million manat ($256.3 million).

The bank's liabilities to credit organizations and other financial institutions amounted to 30.4 million manat ($17.8 million).

The bank's liabilities to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan increased by 12.59 percent and amounted to 87.2 million manat ($51.2 million), while other liabilities totaled 21.31 million manat ($12.5 million).

The bank's share capital amounted to 378 million manat ($222.3 million) as of December 31, 2022, remaining unchanged over the year.

The total reserves of Yelo Bank amounted to 6.8 million manat ($4 million), increasing by 48.95 percent over the year. The bank's retained earnings amounted to 309 million manat ($181.7 million).

The total capital of the bank amounted to 76.2 million manat ($44.8 million) in the fourth quarter of 2022 .

Azerbaijan's Yelo Bank completed the fourth quarter of 2022 with a net profit of 5.2 million manat ($3.06 million), while this figure for the same period in 2021 was 11.7 million manat ($6.8 million). Thus, the profit of Yelo Bank for the year decreased by 55.42 percent.
