BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 11. The Azerbaijan Banks Association has set up a working group on developing and improving the special treatment of persons with disabilities, taking into account the recommendations of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), this week, Trend reports.

Besides, this week, the association also submitted a new 'Corporate Governance Standards' project to the CBA.

Meanwhile, ING Dutch company published a forecast on inflation in Azerbaijan for this year. Analysts of the company forecasted average annual inflation in the country at the level of 9.7 percent.

According to the ING forecast, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2024 will be five percent.

For 2025, the company forecasted an average annual inflation of 4.6 percent.

The company also published a forecast for the growth of the Azerbaijani economy, according to which GDP growth in 2023 will be three percent, and in 2024 and 2025 - 2.5 percent.

So, according to ING forecasts, from 2023 through 2025, the average annual growth of the Azerbaijani economy will be 2.6 percent.

In addition, it was reported that for the next three years, the expected portfolio of investment projects of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will amount to $750 million, of which about $300 million will fall on 2023.

This week, the EBRD also shared its plans to sign investment contracts with three Azerbaijani banks in 2023.

Meantime, the Qiwi payment service launched transfers to cards of Azerbaijani banks.
