Around 4,000 Families Provided with Telephone Numbers in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / More than 3,000 families were provided with telephone numbers in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan from January to September 2007, the permanent representative of NAR to Baku reported.
The Communication and Information Technology Ministry of NAR connected 3,777 phone lines, which is 1,078 or 39.9% more compared to the same period in 2006.
In total the sum of AZN 11,353,200 in communication services was rendered to enterprises, organizations and the public. Some 78.25% or 8,877,500 of services fell to private companies.
