Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 January / Trend corr S. Babayeva / Beginning from the first quarter of 2008, the Azerbaijani State Radio Frequency Administration will hold be monitoring the radio to detect the quality of TV and radio programs broadcasting in the regions of the country.
"The monitoring will cover Alibayramli, Hajigabul, Kurdamir, Ujar, Zardab, Salyan and Neftchala regions," the Administration reported.
Earlier, jointly with the specialists of Teleradio PA the State Radio Frequency Administration held an appraisal of the electromagnetic voltage in order to reveal the quality of TV and radio broadcasting in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.
Presently, 283 enterprises and organizations use the frequencies of the State Radio Frequency Administration, with 129 of them being state-run, 136 commercial and 18 foreign organizations. ATLAS-3000 mobile station was purchased to monitor radio frequencies and operative eliminate radio frequency interferences. The adaptation of the Baku map program has been completed and an electronic map of Azerbaijan is being developed jointly with the IT Institution.
The Azerbaijani State Radio Frequency Administration began its activities in 1970.
