Azercell Telecom, an Azerbaijani mobile operator, is developing a final document for licensing its services in 3G standard, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said today.
"In accordance with the rules, the Ministry will reply within three days of submission of the document," Abbasov said.
The company will receive a license to provide services in 3G standard, if the documents meet the necessary requirements, the minister said.
Azerfon Company, which operates under the Azerfon-Vodafon brand in this system, has already received a license to provide services in 3G standard.
