The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry's Production Union (PU) Aztelekom applies security rules of intra trunk lines, the ministry said.
The security measures include coordination of all details on the implementation of the excavation work along the main lines laid in connection with the technical unit cable lines (TUCL) Aztelekom and telecommunications operator nodes.
The company's decision, which deals with both public and private entities, is taken to prevent holding of any free work that may lead to emergency situations and disruption in communication lines. Physical and legal persons violating safety rules will be brought to administrative and criminal liability.
One should obtain official a written permission from the TUCL and local executive bodies to carry out works in areas where the operators' cable lines are laid.
The written appeals are accepted at the TUCL in Baku, as well as the operator's telecommunication sites located in the Sahil settlement, and cities of Khirdalan, Shamakhi, Goychay, Siyazan, Barda, Lankaran, Sabirabad, Beylagan, Gazakh, Salyan, Guba, Sheki, Zagatala, Gabala, Shamkir, Ujar, Kurdamir, Ganja and Goygol.
