Azerbaijan imported 618,647 mobile phones and other mobile devices worth $54.266 million in January-October 2017, the country’s State Statistics Committee told Trend Dec. 15.
The number of mobile phones imported by the country increased by nearly twofold in January-October 2017 as compared to January-October 2016.
Azerbaijan imported 310,015 mobile phones in January-October 2016. In terms of value, the figure also increased by 94.5 percent.
On average, more than 61,000 mobile devices have been imported into the country monthly since early 2017.
