In October 2018, the number of requests from Azerbaijani state agencies related to computer security increased by 32.7 percent compared to September and amounted to 401, the Computer Security Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Azerbaijan told Trend.
In October, 93.5 percent of the total requests received by CERT were reviewed and dealt with. On the basis of the audit of information security, 17 reports were prepared by CERT and sent to the relevant structures.
According to CERT, five domains and one sub-domain were registered in the Azerbaijani internet segment last month.
The total number of requests related to computer security amounted to 2,703 in January-October 2018, which is 48.5 percent more than in the same period of 2017.
In January-October, 89.8 percent of the total number of requests were considered and dealt with.
During the period, 126 reports were prepared and sent to the relevant structures on the basis of the audits of information security.
In January-October, 33 domains and 21 sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet.
