Attacks on information systems of Azerbaijani state agencies increase

In January-April 2019, the number of requests from Azerbaijan's state agencies related to computer security increased by 34.1 percent compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to 1,261, a representative of the Computer Security Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Azerbaijan told Trend.

In January-April 2019, CERT reviewed and addressed 94.4 percent (1,191 requests) of all requests received during this period. On the basis of the audit of information security, CERT prepared and sent 73 reports to the relevant structures.

In the first four months of 2019, 17 domains and 33 sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet.
