French Airbus presents new digital projects to Uzbekistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13

Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development of Uzbekistan and French Airbus company held online negotiations on space images use, monitoring of agricultural and other land plots, as well as receiving satellite images on the virtual station and earth remote sensing center establishment, Trend reports with reference to the ministry.

“One of the biggest achievements of digital technologies is that they can be widely used in various spheres and sectors of the economy providing the opportunity to significantly increase economic efficiency by saving organizational, financial and human resources. Effective use of land resources is one of the most challenging areas for Uzbekistan,” the message said.

During the meeting, the Airbus representatives made a presentation demonstrating the convenience of using the new remote sensing center and virtual station, and their technical capabilities.

The participants also exchanged views on the training and professional development of specialists in this field and the implementation of warranty services. Detailed information on training programs and organizational activities was also presented.

AIRBUS is one of the largest aircraft building companies in the world, established in the late 1960's by merging several European aircraft manufacturers. It produces passenger, cargo and military transport aircrafts under the Airbus brand.

The company operates in 167 countries around the world and has 25 production facilities in 10 countries. It has more than 2,000 customers and 161 sales agents in 77 countries.
