A single platform for the mutual recognition of electronic signatures (ES) (e-imza) can be created in Azerbaijan, said Arif Mailov, director of the Azerbaijan National Certification Services Center, during the online event ‘Smart Projects’ organized by the Azerbaijan Data Processing Center, Trend reports.
According to Mailov, within the framework of this issue, a corresponding working group has been created jointly with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
"In our country, there are used three types of electronic signatures – ‘ASAN-imza', electronic signatures of the certification center and the CBA. We need to find solutions for their mutual recognition. This issue will be discussed within the working group," he noted.
On December 15, the Data Processing Center under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan organized an online event ‘Smart Projects’, where the Director of the National Center for Certification Services of Azerbaijan Arif Mailov and the center’s specialist Habib Abbasov made speeches.
