Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Sumaks Technologies company Javid Mammadov in an interview with Trend spoke about projects, plans for 2021 and production systems of Sumaks.
According to Mammadov, the AutoMax - GPS systems have been put on sale since 2017 and their main consumers are mainly the private and some state sectors of Azerbaijan.
“Due to the current circumstances in the country and the world, no new devices were manufactured in this direction, and production in this direction was suspended. Our main task today is to meet the needs of current and new customers using these devices,” the executive director said.
He noted that another planning project ‘ERP’ (enterprise resource planning) has been used for more than a year at the production associations of public services in Azerbaijan.
“This project is quite successful in this direction. Based on this success, we intend to expand the project's applicability in other structures within the next month,” Mammadov added.
In addition, the first test results of this project in various sectors of government agencies received positive assessments, which will make it possible to transfer this decision to higher levels of government agencies, the expert noted.
“To date, about 50 scrolling external banner stands have been installed in Baku city within the framework of the Scroller Management project. We’re working to expand the capabilities of this project. Also, up till now, about 200 such devices have been manufactured and, as necessary, they will be installed in the necessary places in our capital,” Mammadov stressed.
The year 2020 was a rather difficult year for Sumaks Technologies both in the production of technical solutions and in their distribution.
“In 2021, we, like everyone else, will primarily work on lost profits and preservation of the gains achieved. At the moment, our company doesn’t have any strategic plan. I would like to inform you about a successful project in the field of education, developed in 2020 together with IT city and received high marks among teachers. In the near future its sales will start in Turkey. If the Turkish market shows the same positive results, we will try to bring the project to the US and other foreign markets,” he added.
