The Uzbek company NIHOL participated in the implementation of the activities of Teploelektroproekt JSC, the largest design and survey organization in the field of energy, industrial and civil construction in Central Asia, NIHOL told Trend on Monday.
Earlier it was reported that MERKURIY NIHOL, a member of the NIHOL group of companies, provided the Uzbekistan Airways joint-stock company with innovative IT equipment.
NIHOL said that MERKURIY NIHOL cooperated with Lenovo Group Limited, a Chinese transnational corporation, and Fortinet, an American transnational corporation in the implementation of this project.
NIHOL also reported that within the framework of the project MERKURIY NIHOL cooperated with such distributors as RRC, an international profile distributor with offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Almaty, Baku, Tashkent, Minsk, (one of the largest distributors in Russia and the CIS) and Marvel (one of the largest wide-profile distributors of computer hardware, server and network equipment, software, portable electronics and communications in Russia, the CIS countries, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and Mongolia).
In addition, the company noted that, in 2020, during the strict quarantine introduced due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection, MERKURIY NIHOL completed a large and laborious project, which included the phased construction of a hyper-converged complex at TURON BANK.
Commenting on its participation in the digitalization of the energy sector of Uzbekistan, the company noted the project of Teploelektroproekt JSC.
According to the information, the main activity of Teploelektroproekt JSC is research, design, and survey work in the field of energy, industrial and civil construction, design of heat power facilities in the republics of Central Asia, including thermal power plants (TPP), combined heat and power plants (CHP) and district boiler houses.
In total, under the TEP projects 15 Thermal Power Plants with an overall capacity of more than 10,000 MW were built and expanded.
“Several years ago, it was necessary to supply equipment in order to increase the capacity of the IT infrastructure for the operational needs of this organization. NIHOL participated in this project, which was successfully implemented several years ago,” the company said.
Also, NIHOL-KOMTEX, which acts as a system integrator of the NIHOL group of companies, has the competence and many years of experience in building complex information systems, including for the digitalization of the energy sector of Uzbekistan.
Being in the market since 1989 NIHOL has been implementing complex IT and digitalization projects in Uzbekistan. NIHOL's clients include more than 200 organizations, enterprises, banks, authorities, and administrations.
