Work has been completed on the development of a basic design of the project for the modernization of the Fergana Oil Refinery in Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the press service of Fergana Oil Refinery.
According to the information, the project provides for the construction of five new and reconstruction of six existing technological units, with the involvement of international design organizations.
It is reported that engineering surveys were carried out at sites for the construction of new installations. A feasibility study of the project has been developed, which has been reviewed and approved by the relevant ministries, and submitted for approval to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Also, work has begun on the development of a detailed project with the involvement of design institutes Omskneftekhimproekt PJSC (Russia) and UzLiTi Engineering LLC FE (Uzbekistan). Currently, work has begun on the construction of temporary buildings and structures, as well as preparation of construction sites and work is underway to develop working documentation.
In addition, a roadmap was developed for the production of new types of oils based on the I-group, corresponding to API standards.
In cooperation with Jizzakh Petroleum JV LLC, Fergana Oil Refinery LLC, Xinxiang Richful Lube Additive Co Ltd (China) and Jinzhou Bett Chemical Co .,Ltd (China), recipes for the production of motor, hydraulic and transmission oils based on additives produced by these companies were prepared.
