Revenues of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services from January through September 2021 exceeded $32.3 million, Trend reports referring to the "Export Review" of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan.
According to the review, the share of export of services in the total revenues of the JSC in the specified period amounted to 91 percent.
It is reported that Azercosmos in 9M2021 exported satellite and telecommunication services to 36 countries, including Great Britain, the US, France, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.
It is noted that Azercosmos exported services to 26 countries for $1.5 million in September 2021.
Azercosmos OJSC owns two communication satellites - Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as Azersky low-orbit satellite.
The income of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services at the end of last year amounted to $45.1 million, which is four percent more than in 2019.
