The number of cyberattacks on companies tripled in 2021, the Azerbaijani representative office (Span Azerbaijan) of the Croatian company Span told Trend.
Span Azerbaijan is currently working on licensing Microsoft products in Azerbaijan, including the introduction of its programs and services. Today Span Azerbaijan provides security and support for nearly 15 companies.
According to the source, 66 percent of organizations are still subject to cyberattacks.
"Methods of cyber-attacks are constantly changing, which makes it difficult to counter them and prevent cyber threats. In this regard, there is a growing need for switching to cloud solutions and technologies in order to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of cyber attacks," the company said.
Passwords are the biggest problem when it comes to data security as they are easy to steal.
"Modern authentication capabilities allow the use of biometric data or security PIN codes when entering a password, which makes the authorization secure for 99.9 percent," the company said.
