Revenues of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services in 2021 exceeded $45.3 million, Trend reports referring to the "Export Review" of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, the share of export of services in the total revenues of the JSC in the specified period amounted to 89 percent.
Last year, Azercosmos OJSC exported satellite and telecommunication services to 41 countries, including the UK, the US, France, Malaysia, and the UAE.
At the same time, in December 2021, Azercosmos exported services to 28 countries for $3 million.
Azercosmos OJSC owns two communication satellites - Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as the low-orbit satellite Azersky.
The income of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services at the end of 2020 amounted to $45.1 million, which is four percent more than in 2019.
