Azerbaijan is currently working with the World Economic Forum (WEF) on three main directions, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Tamerlan Taghiyev, said at the briefing, Trend reports.

They include artificial intelligence and machine learning, the Internet of Things (IoT) and urban transformation, also digital commerce.

Taghiyev said the official opening ceremony of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution took place on February 23, 2022. Sessions on artificial intelligence were organized. An exchange of views took place on the preparation of a national strategy for artificial intelligence, also the application of technologies based on artificial intelligence.

Memorandum of understanding on digital trade was signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey in April, 2021, he noted.

"A working group of 11 state structures has been created, the coordination of which is entrusted to our center. Our center also carries out activities within the framework of the development of the fourth industrial revolution, the digital economy in Azerbaijan. Working group of 22 state structures has been created. Coordination on it is also entrusted to our center," Taghiyev said.
