BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Revenues from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan rose from January through March 2022, the State Statistical Committee told Trend.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to 239 million manat ($140.6 million), up by 20 million manat ($11.7 million), or 9.1 percent, on annual basis.
In March, revenues of the mobile operators increased by 2.7 million manat ($1.6 million), or 3.5 percent, compared to February this year, amounting to 79 million manat ($46.4 million).
The total volume of services provided by communication and information enterprises for the first quarter of this year amounted to 604.4 million manat ($355.5 million). Some 76.4 percent of the total volume were services provided for the population.
Meanwhile, the cost of communication and information services increased by 14.7 percent in real terms compared to 1Q2021.
Some 39.5 percent of the total revenues in the telecommunications market fell on mobile operators.
