BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. The number of inquiries related to computer security in Azerbaijan from January through August 2022 amounted to 3,981, the Computer Emergency Response Center (CERT) under the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to CERT, 3,776 of the inquiries (94.85 percent) were considered and dealt with.
In the first eight months of this year, 320 reports were prepared and sent to the appropriate structures by the team for responding to computer incidents on the basis of an audit on information security, CERT noted.
Meanwhile, 40 domains and 111 sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet, added CERT.
In 2021, the number of unique cyber-incidents in the above segment decreased by 20.3 percent on annual basis, to 3,977.
