WORKS ON USTDA GRANT WILL START IN SEPTEMBER
Works on the grant agreement in the amount of about $735,000, signed between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) of Azerbaijan and the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will commence from 19 September
of the current year, MCIT told Trend.
The agreement includes consulting services on transfer of technologies, restructuring and institutional management, facilitation to the MCIT improvement in the field of the modern practice in the information and communication technologies sector.
For implementation of the above-mentioned measures by MCIT under the grant agreement, 3 advisors on strategic, legal and financial issues are to be approved.
The term of the agreement, which expires in July 2006, envisions rendering technical assistance in the MCIT strategic and institutional restructuring.
