Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The Azerbaijani delegation of the Ministry of Communications is to participate in the next meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC), the Ministry informed.
From Azerbaijan, the 18th meeting of the RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation will be attended by Arzu Najafova; Coordinator for CIS and RCC of the Communications Ministry's Department for International Relations and Work with non-State Institutions.
The meeting is scheduled to take place between 2-3 April in Kiev and will focus on the preparation of the RCC Communications Administrations for events of the International Telecommunication Union and the World Postal Union.
The agenda of the meeting also includes preparation of RCC Communications Administrations to World Assembly for Telecommunication Standardization and their future interactions in coordinating joint positions.
The representative of the Azerbaijani Communications Ministry is expected to make a report on the activities of Azerbaijan in governing bodies of the World Postal Union and the International Telecommunication Union.
As a result of the meeting, the agenda, date and place of the 19th meeting of RCC Commission for Coordination of International Cooperation will be confirmed.
