Azerbaijan Computer Company Plans Network Expansion

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva / The Azerbaijani computer manufacturing plant KUR, located in Mingechevir, west Azerbaijan, will open its representative offices in Baku and Ganja by the end of the year.

Rizvan Osmanov, the Director General of KUR, stated in an interview with local newspaper Respublika, that the sale of computers will be organized in Lankaran, Ali Bayramly, Zakatala, Gabala, Khachmaz, Guba, Tovuz, Gazakh, Imishli, Masally and Shemakha, jointly with partners.

During this time, KUR plans to establish service centers within the regions in the country. In 2007 the plant plans to increase its participation share in the market, raise the average monthly salary, promote national brands of products and to participate in large tenders. "We are keen on doubling the volume of production. This requires the application of a program in search of new business partners," the head of the plant stressed

KUR, founded in 2005, functions as a joint venture between the Ministry of Communications and a local company Sinam with a large part of the share being held by the State

This is first plant in the South Caucasus and Central Asia, involved in the container assembly of computers. In May 2006 KUR was awarded the international quality certificate ISO 9001:2000.
