As many as 5,413 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Ukraine from January through June 2020, which is 55 percent more than in the same period in 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Some 0.97 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation from Turkey by trucks accounted for Ukraine during the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, 659 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Ukraine in June 2020, which is 137 percent more than in June 2019.
In total, 558,903 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad from January through June 2020, which is a decrease by eight percent compared to the same period in 2019.
In June 2020, 99,165 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad, which is six percent more compared to June 2019.
