A total of about 47,500 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Genaveh and Dayyer ports of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 22-September 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).
While in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 22-August 21, 2020), 45,700 tons of cargo was loaded and unloaded at these ports, the report added.
A total of 10,800 tons of goods were loaded and unloaded at the Genaveh port in the 6th month. Of this volume, 3,200 tons were loaded and 7,600 tons were unloaded at the port, according to the statistics.
More than 119 tons of goods were exported and 412 tons of goods were imported through Genaveh port over the sixth month, the statistics said.
“At the same time, 2,900 tons of goods were loaded for cabotage and 2,700 tons were unloaded at this port,” the statistics added.
Also, 1,200 tons of goods were unloaded for transshipment and 179 tons of goods were loaded for other purposes and 4,530 tons were unloaded at the Genaveh port.
According to the statistics, 9 tons of vehicles and spare parts, 9,480 tons of other goods, and 1,340 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded at the Genaveh port in the 6th month.
“In addition, 36,600 tons of goods were loaded and unloaded at the Dayyer port in the 6th month. Of this volume, 28,600 tons of were loaded and 8,000 tons were unloaded at the port.
According to the report, 28,400 tons of goods were exported via this port and 220 tons of goods were loaded and 8,000 tons were unloaded for other purposes.
During the reporting period, 3,050 tons of other goods and 33,600 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded at the Dayyer port.
In total, 5.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and 4.5 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.
