Uzavtosanoat Uzbek holding negotiates with the British Bentley on the release of new electric vehicles in Uzbekistan from 2021, Trend reports referring to Tez News.
According to information, the Uzbek market is planning to produce hybrid vehicles with two types of electricity.
In addition, six different hybrid electric vehicles are expected to be released under Bentley by 2025.
Uzavtosanoat has not yet officially confirmed this information.
Bentley plans to fully switch to electric vehicle production within ten years. The automaker will stop producing cars with an internal combustion engine by 2030. Bentley plans to introduce the first electric car by 2025. The manufacturer is gearing up to launch two hybrid models next year.
Earlier Bentley held a presentation of the updated Bentayga in Russia, and it was reported that it plans to launch the production of electric vehicles for the public.
In addition, it was noted that new models of KIA cars will be produced in Uzbekistan’s Jizzakh in November. It was also reported that small trucks under the Changan brand will be produced in the Namangan region.
In October, it was reported that Jizzakh Auto LLC in the Jizzakh region will present the ŠKODA brand, owned by Volkswagen. It was noted that the first ŠKODA car in Uzbekistan will be the full-size ŠKODA KODIAQ roadster of the 2021 model year.
