Kazakhstan has exported a total of 2,231 passenger cars worth $23.1 million to the countries of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) over the period from Jan. through Oct. 2020, Trend reports citing the data of Eurasian Economic Union.
The report said that the exported passenger cars were 41.9 percent more in volume and 3.7 percent more in value than during the same period of last year.
Thus, the largest volume of cars exported from Kazakhstan were sent to Russia – 1,863 cars worth $14.3 million, which is 44.8 percent and 24.5 percent more year-on-year respectively.
During the reporting period Kazakhstan has also exported 319 cars worth $8.4 million to Kyrgyzstan, and 48 cars worth $420,612 to Belarus.
Furthermore, over the course of first 10 months of 2020, Kazakhstan has also exported 565 cargo vehicles worth $12.2 million to the countries of EAEU. The export volume of cargo vehicles was 39.2 percent more year-on-year, whereas export value was 72.7 percent more.
Of the exported volume, 524 vehicles worth $8.1 million were exported to Russia, 35 vehicles worth $4.03 million were exported to Kyrgyzstan, and 5 vehicles worth $77,115 were exported to Belarus.
