UAE FlyDubai airlines will increase flights from Dubai to Tashkent, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.
A meeting with representatives of the UAE aviation authority was held at the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan on May 19-20 of this year, during which the issues of expanding cooperation between the two countries in the field of civil aviation, increasing the frequency of flights, and establishing air traffic in new directions were discussed in detail.
Following the meeting, representatives of the aviation authorities of the two countries agreed to increase the frequency of FlyDubai flights on the Dubai - Tashkent - Dubai route from five to six flights per week.
The parties also agreed to increase the frequency of flights of Air Arabia PJSC on the Sharjah - Tashkent - Sharjah route from two to three flights per week.
In addition, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has increased its frequency of flights from two to four flights per week in the direction of Abu Dhabi-Tashkent-Abu Dhabi.
Also, it is reported that Wizz Air Abu Dhabi received the right to operate flights to Bukhara and Urgench.
Earlier it was reported that Arab low-cost Air Arabia airline will start operating regular flights on the Abu Dhabi - Tashkent - Abu Dhabi route from June 24 this year. According to the information, flights on the mentioned route will be operated twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.
