Airline companies operating in Georgia are increasing the frequency of regular flights, Trend reports via the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
According to the applications received by the Civil Aviation Agency, scheduled flights to existing destinations will be operated with the following frequency:
- In the period from 15 to 25 July, FlyDubai is planning to operate 19 additional flights in the direction of Dubai - Tbilisi - Dubai.
- From July 1 to September 11, Qatar Airways plans to add three frequencies in the direction of Doha - Tbilisi - Doha, and during this period, in general, flights will be operated 10 times on a weekly basis.
- From July 1 to August 29, Uzbekistan Airways plans to add 1 frequency per week - only three times a week.
- From June 20 to October 24, the Kazakh low-cost airline FlyArystan will add 1 frequency in the direction of Nur - Sultan - Kutaisi - Nur - Sultan. Accordingly, flights on the indicated route will be operated three times a week.
- The airline also increases the frequency of flights in the direction of Aktau - Kutaisi - Aktau. From July 5 to October 25, flights will be operated four times a week, instead of three.
- From July 1 to September 12, Belavia airline plans to add four frequencies on the Minsk-Batumi-Minsk route. In general, regular flights to this direction will be operated with a frequency of 18 times a week.
- From June 24 to October 28, the Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp Airlines plans to add one frequency in the direction of Odessa - Tbilisi - Odessa. Flights on the indicated route were carried out twice a week. The Civil Aviation Agency has already issued the relevant permits to the airlines.
