Georgian Kutaisi Int'l Airport sees positive dynamics in air movement - Georgian Airports Union

Kutaisi International Airport of Georgia served 42,332 passengers in July 2021, Trend reports via the Georgian Airports Union.

The passenger flow restored by 50 percent, while flights by 70 percent last month.

According to the Georgian Airports Union, the positive dynamics of the air movement are evident despite the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Three air companies operate nineteen flights to eleven countries at the Kutaisi International Airport.

A total of 112 regular flights are scheduled to be carried out to the European countries and 54 to Asia in August.

A new terminal of Kutaisi International Airport of Georgia has opened on June 10.

Following the expansion, the area of the Kutaisi International Airport has increased from 4,800 m2 to 30,000 m2. The number of registration counters has increased from 10 to 18, of which two are baggage drop off, where passengers will be able to hand over their luggage after having registered online.
