BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. The volume of cargo transported through Iranian airports increased by 44 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
In total, about 270,000 tons of cargo were transported through Iranian airports within last Iranian year, according to the statistics.
Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, the figure stood at over 187,000 tons.
