BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14. Azerbaijan plans to attract 60,000 wheeled vehicles (TIRs) or 50 percent of the total number to the Baku International Sea Trade Port (Port of Baku) in the future within the cooperation with the Turkish side, Head of Strategic Planning and Development Department at the Port of Baku Khudayar Hasanli told reporters, Trend reports on November 14.
According to Hasanli, the traffic of wheeled vehicles between the Central Asian countries and Türkiye is about 120,000 TIRs.
"Currently, only about 20-25 percent of these TIRs fall on the share of Azerbaijan," he added.
