The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Serik Baymaganbetov appointed new chairmen of Criminal, Administrative and Traffic Police Committees, Kazakhstan Today reports.
According to the Ministry's press service, Colonel Zhanat Suleymenov has been appointed chairman of Criminal Police Committee, earlier holding the post of the chairman of the Committee for Struggle against Drug Business and Control over Drug Trafficking. Major General Anatoly Vyborov, earlier holding the post of the chief of security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been appointed head of the Committee for Struggle against Drug Business.
Colonel Berik Bilalov, earlier holding the post of the head of Criminal Police Committee, has been appointed plenipotentiary representative of Kazakhstan in the Bureau of Coordination of the Struggle Against Organized Crime and other Dangerous Offences on the territory of the CIS member states.
