Alia Karpykova was appointed the Deputy Chairman of the People's Bank of Kazakhstan (Halyk Bank), the bank reported.
"Karpykova will be responsible for the bank finance and accounting. Karpykova replaced Naila Abdulina in this position," the bank's report reads.
Karpykova came to the People's Bank in 2004 as Managing Director of Risks. She headed the risk management direction in 2007 -2010. She was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the bank in 2010.
