Kazakh, Russian FMs sign action plan for 2012
Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov signed on Monday an action plan on cooperation between the foreign ministries of the countries for 2012, Kazinform reported.
"The action plan will enable to deepen closer cooperation between our countries," Lavrov said at a news conference in Moscow.
The parties also discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. The main focus was the tasks stemming from the meeting of the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus held on November 18.
The foreign ministers expressed confidence that the countries will further multilateral cooperation and contribute to the development of good neighborly relations in the spirit of partnership and unity.
