The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan is going to professionally defend the interests of Kazakhstan's businesses in major oil and gas projects, including the Kashagan, the Chairman of National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Ablai Myrzakhmetov said to the journalists on Monday.
"Everything that concerns the protection of the rights of domestic entrepreneurs will be in the field of view of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. In addition, as is known, there is a separate chapter in the Act on increase of the Kazakhstan content among subsoil users, particularly in the major oil and gas projects, including Kashagan,"he said.
According to him, a responsible person will work under National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, who will personally be in charge of the oil and gas sector.
"He will be constantly in touch with "Chevron", NCOC. These are the biggest corporations, and it is necessary to negotiate with them professionally," the chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs said.
According to him, one of the deputy heads of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs separately will deal with the issues of Customs Union and the CES (Common Economic Space).
"This Deputy will be at the rank of first deputy, since it is one of our priorities. We will even open an office in Moscow, composed of 10 people," Myrzakhmetov said.
On Monday, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs was established in Kazakhstan. Timur Kulibayev was elected chairman of the Presidium of the Chamber. The decision was made unanimously. Ablai Myrzakhmetov became a chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
The main functions of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs are protection of the rights and interests of entrepreneurs, the monitoring of the conditions of business activities in the regions, support of domestic production, as well as attracting investment and economic diversification.
The National Chamber is organized on the principle of compulsory membership in it of all business entities, duly registered in the territory of Kazakhstan. The law provides for the establishment of National Chambers at the national, regional and district levels.
