Kazakhstan and Hungary will continue to strengthen strategic cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of Hungary Mihai Varga said following a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Trend reports citing Kazinform.
According to the information, the sides discussed the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in the two countries, talked about economic issues, cultural cooperation, cooperation in the field of education.
“We stated that the economy is starting to work intensively again, and this provides very good opportunities for the development of our bilateral contacts, a wide range of different opportunities,” Varga said.
Varga also added that a large delegation of Hungarian entrepreneurs arrived in Kazakhstan within the framework of the visit.
“The business forum was attended by over 50 Hungarian entrepreneurs who signed a cooperation agreement with their partners. With regard to specific proposals, the Hungarian government expects cooperation in the field of energy, water management, medicine,” Varga said.
