Kazakh PM unveils plans to increase export volume of agricultural products

Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin spoke about the plans to increase the export volume of agricultural products, Trend reports referring to a correspondent of Kazinform news agency.

“We have a task to expand the export potential, there are corresponding opportunities,” Mamin said while answering questions during a meeting with journalists.

The Kazakh prime minister said that there is a task to double the export volume by 2025, from $3 billion to $6 billion.

“This is a big task, therefore, we are working on it,” the Kazakh prime minister added. “The weather conditions are very important.”

“This year we have less grain than last year, but, nevertheless, we provide ourselves and maintain the corresponding export potential,” Mamin said.

The Kazakh prime minister added that despite the complexity, the tasks will be solved.

“Therefore, I think this is a very difficult sector, but we have created an exact, concrete plan to solve these problems,” Mamin said. “Therefore, I think the government will cope with these plans.”
