Trend:
Kazakh Energy Minister Magzum Mirzagaliyev spoke about the negotiations with the Russian Federation regarding the gasification of the northern and eastern regions of Kazakhstan, Trend reports referring to the correspondent of Kazinform news agency.
“The result is that we have agreed to start specific negotiations on technical parameters, which will concern commercial parameters – that is, the gas prices, and the minimum consumption volumes that are necessary to justify the construction of the pipeline. This week we met with the head of Gazprom Export and discussed this issue,” Magzum Mirzagaliyev said.
“The price of fuel and lubricants will not be regulated. It is impossible to regulate because when discussing the price of fuel, we must remember two things: independence from the Brent price, as well as the price of the contractor. There should not be a big difference from the formed price,” Kazakh Minister said concerning the price growth of fuel and lubricants.
“This year there was a shortage of diesel fuel. One reason is the big difference in price compared to neighboring countries,” said Mirzagaliyev added.
