A total of 68,328 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan from January through November 2021, which is 16.6 percent more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in November alone amounted to 6,574 cars, which also is 3.4 percent less than in November 2020.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 9,205 vehicles (1,406 in November), of specialized vehicles at 303 (75 in November).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in November 2021 amounted to 88, which is 58.9 percent less than in November 2020. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 636 vehicles, which is 70.9 percent less than during the same period of last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 108,969 during 11 months and 16,172 in November 2021, which is 70.7 percent and 4.5 times more respectively than during the same period of 2020.
A total of 36 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over 11 months of 2021, and five in November alone.
