Kazakhstan will analyze the impact of the sanctions applied against Russia on the sectors of the Kazakh economy, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said, Trend reports via the press office of Kazakh presidential residence.
Tokayev gave the corresponding instruction during the meeting of the Supreme Council for Reforms.
Operational headquarters set up by the government to coordinate anti-crisis measures should conduct a detailed analysis of the impact of the sanctions applied against Russia on the sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan, the president noted.
It is necessary to simulate various scenarios for the development of the situation, also to formulate a single plan for further actions, he added.
Tokayev urged the government to work in this direction promptly and in closer dialogue with the business community.
The head of state instructed to prepare a package of measures to support enterprises based on economic analysis and selected groups of the population if it’s necessary. State budget for this year will also be revised.
Number of 3 issues were considered: strengthening the revenue side of the state budget, improving investment policy within the framework of the main part of the meeting of the Supreme Council, reforming Samruk-Kazyna JSC.
