BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. Samruk-Kazyna, a sovereign wealth fund and joint stock company in Kazakhstan, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the French Assystem engineering company on the cooperation in the field of atomic energy, Trend reports, citing the press office of the Samruk-Kazyna.

The document has been signed within the framework of the Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to France.

The MoU encompasses the involvement of Assystem in the process of personnel training and provision of technical expertise in the framework of the project on the construction of an atomic energy station in Kazakhstan.

Assystem is currently involved in nuclear power plant (NPP) construction projects in a number of locations worldwide. In the framework of those projects, Assystem supervises the building of the key safety facilities and systems.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan continues to attract global companies, which are willing to contribute to the atomic energy projects in Kazakhstan.
