BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 13. The volume of real estate sales in Kazakhstan amounted to 24,118 in February 2023, Trend reports, citing the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan.
This is a decrease of 0.7 percent compared to January 2023 when 24,294 sales were finalized.
The number of houses sold amounted to 6,174, while 17,944 flats were sold in February 2023.
In regional terms, the majority of property deals were concluded in Almaty with 4,231 sales completed (17.5 percent), while Astana was a close second with 4,208 real-estate sales recorded (17.4). On the other end of the spectrum, only 265 property sale agreements were signed in Ulytau (1.1 percent).
Despite Almaty’s overall leadership, the number of sales in the
city decreased by 24.4 percent. The number of deals completed in
Zhetysu and Ulytau also decreased significantly by 13.3 and 7
percent respectively.
East-Kazakhstan region (26.1 percent) and Akmola region (15.5
percent) recorded the most significant growth in sales.
Single-room apartment sales amounted to 6.935, which made this category of property the most purchased in Kazakhstan. The sale of houses reached 6,174, which is an increase of 5 percent.
